What is Wave Walkers Apparel?
Wave Walkers is a woman-owned company run by Amanda and Taya. They have been friends since 2010 and met in a small church in Virginia Beach. Tired of only seeing bad news and negative images, they wanted to do something about it. That’s when Wave Walkers was created.
Wave Walkers is an apparel company that creates custom designs with a positive message to spread the good news of the gospel.
The company name was inspired by a song from one of their favorite artists, “Citizen Way”. The lyrics come from a story in the gospels where the disciples are out on a boat in the middle of a storm, horrified, thinking they’ve seen a ghost, and Jesus tells them not to be afraid. Peter jumps out, and He too walks on water!
Life can toss a lot of waves, but with eyes fixed on Jesus, we will walk on water.
